Mr. Clark has an undergraduate degree from Boston College in International Economics and a law degree with Boston College. During law school, Mr. Clark specialized in international business and international trade regulatory matters. Since law school, Mr. Clark was one of the founders of an innovative energy company that focused on a unique concept to use coal in the home in a specialized furnace that reduced the carbon footprint of households and businesses and increasing energy use efficiency by a factor of 50%. After selling his share of this company, Mr. Clark has been a sole practitioner in Philadelphia specializing in litigation.

Since joining Global USA® he has developed considerable expertise in international trade regulations including the International Trade in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations (OFAC), Anti-Dumping/Countervailing Duty Regulations, C-TPAT and other international trade procedures. His clients include major international corporations as well as midsized US and East Asian based companies.

Mr. Clark has individually performed and assisted with dozens of export control audits and reviews of high technology companies.  These have included both external and internal audits for companies in China, Japan, Korea, and the US.  Mr. Clark has developed a strong network in Washington including relationships with individuals at the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), OFAC, and the Defense Trade Security Administration (DTSA).  Parallel to his auditing Mr. Clark assists clients with licensing at OFAC, DDTC, BIS, and internationally.

Mr. Clark has lived in Japan where he taught English and speaks Japanese. He has also traveled extensively throughout China, South Korea and certain countries in Southeast Asia.
