Mr. Urias has an undergraduate degree from Liberty University in International Economics and a MBA in International Trade from George Mason University. During graduate school, Mr.Urias specialized in international business and international trade regulatory matters. Since joining Global USA® he has developed considerable expertise in international trade regulations including the International Trade in Arms Regulations (ITAR), the Export Administration Regulations (EAR), the Office of Foreign Assets Control Regulations (OFAC), Anti-Dumping/Countervailing Duty Regulations, C-TPAT and other international trade procedures. His clients include major international corporations as well as midsized US and East Asian based companies. Mr. Urias has individually performed and assisted with dozens of export control audits and reviews of high technology companies.  These have included both external and internal audits for companies in China, Japan, Korea, and the US.  Mr. Urias has developed a strong network in Washington including relationships with individuals at the Directorate of Defense Trade Controls (DDTC), the Bureau of Industry and Security (BIS), OFAC, and the Defense Trade Security Administration (DTSA).  Parallel to his auditing Mr. Urias assists clients with licensing at OFAC, DDTC, BIS, and internationally. Mr. Urias has lived in South America and speaks Spanish fluently.
