Olin Wethington

Advisor to the President

Mr. Wethington is the former Chief Executive Officer CEO of AIG’s operations in the People’s Republic of China (China) and is now a leading consultant to financial institutions in East Asia, the US and Europe. Earlier he was Cabinet Secretary to President G. W. Bush as well as later the Under Secretary of the US Department of Treasury for International Affairs in addition to being the lead negotiator for President George W. Bush on currency matters with the PRC. From 2003 to 2005, Mr. Wethington was the de factor Minister of Finance for Iraq after the second Gulf War. Mr. Wethington holds a J.D. from Harvard Law School and an undergraduate degree from Harvard University.
